Shine Skin and Body opens in Richmond.

If you’re in need for some downtime, pampering and a feel goodness kinda beauty therapy sesh, then you should certainly pay Shine, Skin and Body in Richmond a visit.

Enter into rustic mirrors smeared with gold, vintage crystal chandeliers with touches of yellow details. Look in hidden corners for beautifully hand crafted origami cranes bound in birdcages and paper folds of butterflies and intricate flowers of different sorts.

Art installations from their lampshade staircase plus their magic floral corridors. The interior decoration at Shine, Skin and Body is dazzling; filled with pretty and feminine touches, just walking me makes me naturally sigh, “so glad I took today off!” I promise you’ll love this little gem.

After a big and stressful week, the space is relieving and just makes you feel good, calm and centred. And I haven’t even got into the service yet!

This isn’t just your normal beauty salon. Owner Sheridan and her staff are renowned for their facial extractions. The best in Melbourne, in fact! And how lucky am I, to wind down and relax to spend some one-on-one time with Sheridan herself.

After leaving Shine, Skin and Body’s Grand Opening event, I was handed a gift pack filled with all the skin care range (to last me for a year!) filled with Aspect and Sothy’s. My skin has honestly been at its best within the first week. Not exaggerating! My fave is certainly the Dr Aspect enzyme mask, a touch of citrus gel rubbed in a circular motion 2-3 times week and gently exfoliates for the smoothest of finishes.

What a treat to have a skin consultation, 70-minute facial experiencing their famous extraction method, with facial massage. Walking away, not feeling rejuvenated and re-energised, I have all the personal skin knowledge and products to maintain skin hydration for a flawless finish. It’s actually heaven!
