Is there downtime after advanced treatments?
It varies by treatment. The Lari-Medical Correction Facial involves no visible peeling or downtime. SQT Bio Microneedling causes redness and mild itchiness for one to two days. Dermal Needling may produce redness and mild sensitivity for a day or two following treatment. We will always prepare you for what to expect and advise on aftercare to protect your results.
Can I have advanced treatments if my acne is still active?
Some advanced treatments can be performed on skin with active acne – the Lari-Medical Correction Facial is specifically designed for this. Others, particularly dermal needling, work best once breakouts are more stable.
